White noise is an effective aid for those who suffer with ADD or ADHD and experience difficulty staying on tasks, staying focused and concentrating as they can be easily distracted. A child with ADD or ADHD working on homework in his room could be easily distracted by the sounds of siblings playing in another room or by the TV playing elsewhere in the house. How to best use Pure White Noise® to help with concentration:
1)  Play the Pure White Noise® sound in the same room with the person trying to concentrate.
2)  Using the volume control on your CD player or iPod, keep the volume at a low comfortable level, just loud enough to mask any distracting noises but low enough not to interfere with focus and concentration. Don’t play the white noise too loud!
